Our storage facility is a staple in the city of Danville! Located on Whirlaway Drive, we are easily visible and accessible from the US-127 bypass across from the Boyle County Fair Grounds. We offer a wide range of storage and business options for our customers and pride ourselves on providing a seamless and personalized experience.

Office & Retail Space Solutions
We have 8 office & retail spaces available for rent on site at our facility. Great for those with a customer-based business, these spaces have front doors outside of our gated storage area making it easy access for walk-in traffic. Each office & retail space is 600 square feet. We require a minimum lease term on these rentals, however terms are negotiable. Contact us for more details.

Do I need insurance to rent at your facility?
We do not require proof of insurance for your belongings at The Lock Box. However, it is up to you if you’d like to insure your property on your own. At The Lock Box we know how valuable your items are. We suggest checking your homeowners or renter’s policy for storage unit coverage as we do not provide and are not liable for contents of unit.
What happens when I am ready to move my belongings out of my storage unit?
We do not require formal notice when you’re ready to vacate your storage unit. Simply stop by the office or return the lock and key provided to you when you first rented the unit and we will consider that notification that you are moving out. If you did not use our lock, a phone call or visit is requested.
I am unsure how much storage space I need for what I plan to store. Is anyone on staff to assist with recommendations?
We are happy to help you choose the right storage unit size that makes sense for you! Just give us a call and one of our staff members will be able to assess your needs based on your conversation. Do you offer storage for large vehicles like RVs, buses, boats, etc?
Our facility is equipped with open-air parking spaces for rent for any of your large vehicle needs. You will have an assigned parking spot on our concrete, gated lot for only $50 per month.
Are you a 24-hour storage facility?
Our facility is open to our customers from 7AM to 8PM every day of the week.
Is your facility climate controlled?
Our brick buildings are insulated like a garage at your home, but are not climate controlled.
What are my payment options?
